Emergency Action Plan

No one wants an unsolicited workplace emergency. The fact remains, would you rather be proactive or reactive in your workplace emergency planning? There is no "one size fits all" EAP, nor should there be.

Insights from a retired Fire Department Captain are intended to enhance the success of your emergency planning. 

Beyond the fundamental steps of contact names and contingency plans, identifying possible places of refuge within a workplace, as well as building collapse considerations, proactive measures to consider until the emergency services "cavalry" arrives.
